In Arizona, Mrs. Meiners worked at a Core Knowledge school, where she was recognized as a key contributor to the school's earning the School of Distinction designation from the Core Knowledge Foundation. Additionally, she served as the Humanities Department Chair and even served as Head of School for some time. In July 2024, Mrs. Meiners was selected by the administration to attend a professional development opportunity in Singapore.
