Congratulations, American Academy Castle Pines!

You all raised an incredible $62,799 during the Old School Fun Run! All of you contributed to making this an amazing fundraising event for our school, from our hardworking students, generous sponsors and t-shirt sales, to our incredible AACP families and staff! Your unstoppable dedication made this achievement possible!

We could NOT have pulled off this fantastic event without each and every one of you! Parents arrived bright and early, some staying ALL DAY, and everyone pitched in to make this event possible. The day flowed seamlessly thanks to your hard work—marking laps, filling countless cups of water, cutting open popsicles, holding break-through banners, directing the flow of children, policing trash, distributing water to fellow parent volunteers, breaking down the entire field, and returning tents, cones, and all field supplies back to the school building.

A Day of Fun and Community

The Fun Run was not only a wonderful community event, but it also allowed middle school parents to catch up and reminisce about when their kids were in kindergarten. It was heartwarming to reintroduce this tradition to families new to the school and to those with younger children. Special thanks to our room parents who worked closely with their teachers to ensure the day went smoothly.

Pre-Event Volunteers

We also want to thank those who helped behind the scenes but couldn’t attend the event. From stuffing popcorn bags, to freezing and storing over 900 popsicles at home, your contributions were invaluable. Thanks to everyone who lent us coolers, made banners, designed class signs, and provided pop-up tents for shade!

Announcing the Winners!

Ms. Graves' kindergarten class won the Math Homework Pass - as the top elementary homeroom! Middle school students raised $5,000 by the deadline, earning an additional Dress of Choice Day on October 21st — way to go!

Additional prize winners include:

1st Grade – Top fundraising grade for elementary school, winning an ice cream party Thursday, October 10th.
6th Grade – Top fundraising grade for middle school, also earning an ice cream party Thursday, October 10th.

Plus, the entire school earned a Dress of Choice Day on October 10th for raising over $50,000!

Prizes will be distributed at school on Thursday, October 10th, to be taken home. Parents, please look out for an email from the PTOCP Director of Fall Fundraising if your student won a top prize; this email will provide instructions for prize pickup from the front office.

Congratulations to the Entire School and their families! Your hard work and dedication paid off. Together, we raised crucial funds for our children's school and had a blast doing it! Thank you, American Academy Castle Pines community, for coming together to make this year’s Fun Run a success!
