I was on the news for starting a flower shop in my classroom during COVID days to brighten people's day.

Husband and two children. My daughter is in kindergarten and my son is in second grade. We have 6 pets... 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a bearded dragon. We call it our little zoo. My son wants to own a pet store someday. Making his dream come true early in life to learn about animals and how to care for them.We sold our saltwater tank when we moved from Florida to Colorado.

 

I have coached cheerleading in previous school settings. I am a volunteer at my church over the summer for camps.

 

Classroom wishes: In our classroom we would love all things sensory, fidget related. We would love all things that help to organize our thinking and learning. Anything to enhance learning  or engage students. Your child may have some ideas. I am open minded when it comes to learning in my space.

Coffee/tea: I am a coffee drinker. My favorite protein drink is caffe latte (Premier Protein), I love a good Vanilla Latte with Oat milk.

Snack: chocolate covered pretzels, dark chocolate, lemon blueberry anything, popcorn, Twizzlers Cherry nubs are the best.

Night out restaurant: Blue Island Oyster Bar, Tressels, Sushi (love seafood)

Lunch restaurant: Chick Fila, Chipotle, soups...

Place to shop: HomeGoods, Target, Nordstrom, Lululemon

Movies (out or in): Home Movie, but a great experience is sitting in the AMC with my family to see a good movie.

Bookstore: Barnes and Noble

Holiday: Thanksgiving

Flower: Sunflower, Hydrangea, roses, or Peonies

Color: Green

Sports team(s): Steelers, Penguins (Pittsburgh)

Silly fact about me: I love to sing in the car even though I am the worst singer alive!
