King Soopers Fundraising & Volunteer Hours Program
Partnering with King Soopers is a WIN-WIN for American Academy and our families. Our campus not only gets a percentage back for each dollar spent, but you also get volunteer hours just for your normal grocery/gas shopping! If you link your King Soopers Rewards card / phone number to your American Academy campus PTO, you'll receive 1 volunteer hour for every $200 you spend. Once linked, a percentage of all your purchases, including gasoline, at King Soopers will be automatically credited to our campus PTO. Be sure to tell your family members about it and ask them to do the same; it doesn't affect their rewards/account at all, but helps American Academy.

Go to the top menu "Savings and Rewards" and choose "King Soopers Community Rewards"
When the page loads, click "Enroll Now" and find your American Academy campus PTO
Once your card is linked you can start tracking dollars spent and receive volunteer hours: for every $200 you spend, you earn 1 volunteer hour! On the volunteer tracker you'll just click the King Soopers Receipt option and log your hours based on the honor system. For ease, it's best to keep track and then log your King Soopers volunteer hours in chunks, such as per month or per trimester (instead of each shopping trip).
In addition, if you're shopping for a school donation item, you can also log your time to shop for an item, time to prepare any items and then time to bring it to school.

We love your Longmont Dairy Cap drop-offs! Please keep collecting your caps and dropping them at the school. The drop box is the black and white “dairy” box, next to the doors inside the front lobby. Kindly wash/rinse your dairy caps before bagging them for the drop. Clean caps are the best caps! |

American Furniture Warehouse’s rewards program credits our school with purchases in the store, over the phone, or online. AFW donates 2-4% back to our school on merchandise purchased. Seeking Local Food Shift Partnerships
Agriculture touches each of our lives in diverse ways every single day, yet families living in urban environments are further from farm life than ever. AACP-PTO’s Fundraising Programs is seeking partnership programs with local growers in our community willing to give back to our school. We seek to:
- create personal connections between families and the growers producing our food,
- connect farm and ranch products like beef, eggs, chicken, pork, fruits, vegetables, nuts, honey, and more to consumers in the American Academy community
- support direct access to quality products and local food shift.
