Mother/Son Event – May 4th

Get ready for a fun Mother and Son event!!! Come spend the afternoon with your son on Saturday, May 4th from 3:00pm - 5:30pm at Bowlero in Lonetree. We will have Bowling, Laser Tag and play in the Video Arcade. If you would like to register, please CLICK HERE.

ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!!!  May 6-10, 2019 - Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week Luncheons

Our Teachers and Staff make the game of learning fun every single day for our students, so let's show them how much we appreciate them by providing lunch every day during Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week.  Please click on the following links to help with the luncheon or bring in items for the event.


Please drop off all of the items at the front office by 9:00 a.m. the day of the luncheon.  If you are unable to attend the event or can't bring your items, please delete your name from the sign up page so we can get your spot filled.

Restaurant Night – Chick-fil-A – May 9th

Who doesn’t love themselves some Chick-fil-A!? Come support the school at the Chick-fil-A in Castle Rock next to the Target for dinner. Save yourself the blood, sweat and tears in the kitchen and enjoy dinner at Chick fil A while supporting the school at the same time! Click here to see the brochure!


ATTENTION :Trash Pick Up May 11th

Trash pick up is Saturday, May 11th. We will be picking up trash all around the school and Elk Ridge Park! What a great way to give back to the community! We will meet at the school at 11am. We will end with some pizza! This is a free, family event, but we would still like a count of how many people are coming so we can order the right amount of food! MIDDLE SCHOOL Leadership Lunch Help Needed – May 14th

We are in need of some volunteers to bring some much needed items in to celebrate those Middle Schoolers who receive a leadership award. Please click here if you can help!


Restaurant Night – Scileppi’s  - May 14th

Holiday Boutique

We are adding a Kids' Corner to our Holiday Boutique this year on Saturday, November 16th from 9:00am - 1:00pm! Sign up is already open to give kids the summer to create fun items to sell. Only 12 spaces available for $10. Click here to register.



Hopefully you all saw the announcement regarding the new King Soopers reward program.  The money that comes in from the King Soopers cards is VITAL to the PTO budget each and every year.  So, in order to get everyone linking their cards to AACP, we are going to give every person who links their card 1 volunteer hour.  That’s right, something that will take 5 minutes of time will get you 1 hour of volunteer time.  And, if you take a snapshot of your card linked to AACP (under “My Account” and then “Community Rewards”) and send it to, we will enter you into a drawing for a $100 gift card to King Soopers.  For every 50 entries we get, we will add another $100 gift card to the drawing.  Please go to the PTO website (click here) for the instructions how to link your cards.  Anyone who has linked their card, whether today or two weeks ago, can enter for the gift cards. We will be announcing a winner soon!


Rebel Service Club

Our Rebel Service Club will be collecting our unwanted backpacks and school supplies at the end of this year. They will be helping both kids in our school and others in DCSD that are in need of supplies. We will send out more info on how you can donate and where to bring your items.


Collecting Markers

We will be collecting markers at the end of the year to help the environment. Crayola has a program where you can give all dried out markers to them so they don’t end up in a landfill. We hope to make this a monthly or bi-monthly occurrence but for this year, we will be collecting in May.  More information to come.


Box Tops

Please continue to collect box tops and Longmont Dairy. Thank you for collecting them for our school.  We are counting to see where we stand. We will let your know as soon as we have the winners!


Mabel’s Labels Scrip

The lost and found is already piling high, so please label your child’s belongings.  We have created an account on Mabel’s Labels, so for any of you who love to use these on everything our kids lose, look for American Academy Castle Pines or click here to shop.  Similar to our restaurant nights, we receive a percentage of all sales.


American Furniture Warehouse

We sent home a flyer today from American Furniture Warehouse.  We recently have partnered with them.  Next time you shop at AFW, you can let them know AA is your school and they will give 2%-4% back to AA Castle Pines!  If you didn’t receive the flyer, you can click here to get it!


Parent Directory - DirectorySpot

Do you want to plan your child’s birthday party but don’t have all the right contact information? Or do you want to schedule a playdate for your child?  Please use the DirectorySpot to help you get the information you need. Unfortunately, our teachers cannot give out personal information.


Parents received an email from DirectorySpot on September 18th.  If you go to that email and select the green Set Password button on the email, you will be taken into the DirectorySpot system and you will need to select the green Reset Password button. 


If you cannot find the email from September 18th, you can:

  • Go to
  • Click the Login button
  • Enter the email you have on file with the school
  • Click the Reset Password button
  • You will be sent an email from DirectorySpot to reset your password
