Jodi Losinger is very excited to be continuing as your PTO Board President again this year. She and her husband, Tim, have 2 kids, Kara (3rd Grade) and Abby (Kindergarten) and they love being part of American Academy CP. She is kept busy with many sporting events, ski weekends, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. Jodi is currently the Vice President of Tax with Air Methods Corporation, where she has worked for over 7 years. Prior to that, she was a Tax Director with PwC. Jodi also serves on the Board of Directors for both the Air Methods Foundation as well as the Denver Chapter of Tax Executives Institute. Jodi is looking forward to another wonderful year supporting the teachers, staff, students and parents here at CP.
Andrea Moon is thrilled to join the board this school year. She started helping in her first year at AA-CP with the Spring Bash this past year. Looking to continue to help raise money and make our school even better she is excited about the annual fundraising events including the Fun Run and the Spring Bash. She is the proud mom of Davis who is in 3rd grade and Holden who is in 1st Grade. Outside her job as mom and PTO board member, Andrea works in family medicine as a physician assistant. She has worked for Aurora Family Medicine Center in Aurora for 13 years. Fun fact about Andrea is that she is a native and works at the same hospital in which she was born! When not working or PTO’ing, Andrea loves to be cheering on her kids at sporting events, playing golf, enjoying a great glass of wine or skiing in Steamboat. Andrea is excited to become more of a part of the American Academy-Castle Pines community.
Vice President - Fundraising Programs
Christi Granato-Dexter is a Colorado native that loves spending time with her husband Scott and their two kids Aiden (4th Grade) and Aubrey (2nd Grade). One of her favorite quotes is, "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." Becoming a parent continues to take her breath away every day. Christi started her professional career as a teach in elementary education. For the last seventeen years, she has worked in the IT industry as a software quality engineer and a business analyst. When she is not working and volunteering, she loves party/event planning, hiking, gardening, going to movies, cooking and traveling. She has enjoyed being a part of the Teacher Appreciation Committee since 2015 and was thrilled to join the AACP-PTO Board as the VP of Service and Outreach last year. She looks forward to a wonderful year on the AACP-PTO Board supporting the teachers, staff, students and community.
Krista Cooley and her husband, Jeff are both Colorado natives. They have two kids, Xander (4th grade) and Bailey (2nd grade). Krista loves volunteering at the school and truly loves life! You might know Krista for all the crazy costumes she wears around school. Next time you see Clifford, Easter Bunny, Birthday Cake or the dancing T-Rex at carpool, make sure to wave and say hello. Krista loves planning parties and this role was made for her. Get ready to have fun at the social events at American Academy this year!
Christy Williams is looking forward to a fun and exciting year being the PTO Secretary. Christy has three kids: Ben, a 4th grader, Jacob, a 2nd grader and Abigail, a 3-year-old. In the past, Christy chaired all of the Molholm drives and she also co-chaired Field Day for 2 years. She runs a MOPS group in Littleton and has helped organize a Bark for Life event (cancer walk that you can bring your dog(s) on). In her free time, Christy enjoys being with her family, being outdoors, watching the Broncos and traveling.
Amy Fung is thrilled to serve as the PTO Treasurer and loves volunteering at our amazing school. She most recently managed human subject clinical trials for the University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology. In this role and previous roles, Amy managed budgets and accounts as well as the creation and use of databases. Amy’s volunteer experience includes several years of service with Special Olympics Colorado as a coach for gymnastics, tennis, bowling and bocce ball. She has two girls at American Academy and a toddler boy still at home.
Audrey Metcalf is excited to join the Castle Pines PTO for the 2017-2018 school year as the Assistant Treasurer. Audrey has loved being a room mom, volunteering as Spring Bash Class Basket Chair, helping in the class room, attending field trips with her son, and co-chairing the Mother/Son Ninja Challenge. Audrey has also taken on the Room Parent Coordinator role this year. Audrey and her husband Mike moved to Colorado in 2015 where they are happy to be raising their two sons, Mason, a second grader at American Academy, and Maverick, a rambunctious 3 year old.
