Meet Your PTO Board

Amber
Amber is looking forward to her role on the PTO board as President. She was born and raised in Houston, TX, and received a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University (Go Aggies!). After college, and following her husband- a native Australian, she spent 10 years in Perth and Sydney, Australia. Both her children, Ava (9th Grade) and Logan (6th Grade), were born in Australia. In 2014, they made their journey back to the US, and settled in Denver. Her family joined the American Academy-CP community when Ava started Kindie - 10 years ago! Amber has loved serving American Academy in many roles including Spirit Nights Committee Chair, Room Mom, VP Fall Fundraising, President and Board Advisor. This is Amber's 6th year on the PTO Board and 2nd term as President. Amber has a passion for community service and fundraising, and can’t wait to utilize her talents for American Academy.
Michelle
Michelle and her family are located down in Castle Rock. Michelle and her husband, Iavor, have 3 children: Titus (3rd grade), Violet (Kindie) and Ares (2 years). Michelle currently works in the 401(k) industry and loves reading, yoga, traveling and trying new things with her family. She's excited to serve this year as the PTO Secretary so that she can be more involved with the American Academy community. She was born in California, moved to Hawaii, and finally settled in Colorado after college.
NicoleNicole Pepin, her husband, Zac, and their daughter, Natalie, moved from Oregon to Colorado in 2015, when Zac's job brought them here.  Nicole has been a stay at home mom for several years, while volunteering at AACP, and also at their church in Parker.  Natalie, now in the 7th grade, joined AACP in Kindergarten.  Nicole loves serving at American Academy and has done so over the years as a room mom, grade parent leader, and now as the PTO Social Director Board Member.  Nicole has a passion for helping others and making people smile; as the social board member, she has a great opportunity to do both.  Outside of school activities, Nicole enjoys daily workouts (something she never misses), and her family enjoys traveling during school breaks - often visiting places they've never been!

JacquiJacqui Williams has been a member of the AA community since 2016 when her oldest started Kindergarten. Her daughter, Delaney is at Rock Canyon this year. Her son, Grady is in 4th grade, Jack is in 1st grade, and her youngest, Bodie is in preschool this year. She has been a busy stay at home mom for the last 9 years but before that worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at Littleton Hospital for 7 years. She hopes to return to nursing after her busy “mom era” settles down but in the mean time loves volunteering at the school.

She is a Kansas native (Go Chiefs) but has been in Colorado since 2008. Her dream of getting to have her kids walk to school (and miss the car line) was granted two years ago and is the crazy one you will see crossing the rocks come rain, snow, sleet, tornado, hurricane or tsunami. She did however put in her time in that carpool line for 6 years and even potty trained two of her kids while waiting for the line to move. Jacqui is excited to start this new chapter of being in the school more and showing these amazing kids just how awesome and strong they are. Now sign up to volunteer or she will find you!

Leighton Family

Leighton Peebles and her husband Josh moved to Castle Pines in 2019. They joined the American Academy family in the fall of 2021 when their son Carson started Kindergarten. Their daughter started Kindergarten in the fall of 2023. Leighton is very active in the community and participates in a mentorship program through A Precious Child in Broomfield. She is thrilled to be on the board and the head of Community Outreach. Leighton has been a room mom for two years and loves getting to know the staff and students of AACP. She looks forward to making a positive impact in the community with the students and staff of AACP.

sarah family

Sarah and her husband, Matt, moved from Texas to Colorado in 2012 and started at AACP in the Fall of 2021. They have 4 children that are all attending AACP this yea6! Baylee (5th grade), Sadie (5th grade), Cash (3rd grade) and Cooper (1st grade). She has been a room parent the last 2 years and has loved getting to know the staff and families. Sarah looks forward to bringing our community closer with Restaurant Nights and hopefully some other great ways to support our school.

Kelly Kelly & Brian Beatty have 3 children who have attended AACP since kindergarten: Magnolia “Maggie” (7th Grade), Behr (5th Grade) & George (2nd Grade). The Beattys moved to Castle Pines from San Diego in 2014 where they both served as Navy Officers. Kelly is originally from Jacksonville, Florida but has lived all over the U.S. with her time in the military and somehow; she has never met a stranger. Kelly is excited to bring back the traditional Fall Fun Run of years past. Parents: get your sharpies ready to volunteer to mark laps and take it back to the old school.
TiffanyTiffany and her family have just joined the American Academy family this academic year, and are so happy to be here! Tiffany and her husband, Eric, have two children, Aiden (5th grade) and Sloane (1st grade), and work together as owners of The Flower Shop at Castle Pines. When they aren't running around delivering flowers in town, or heading up weddings and events, Tiffany can be found curled upwith a thick novel, working as the local Parks and Recreation Board chair to improve your experience around Castle Pines, hiking, enjoying the Colorado sunshine, or baking with the kids. This year, Tiffany is excited to be volunteering as the PTO-CP's Spring Fundraiser Chair, and has fingers crossed everyone enjoys the Spring Gala!
Kristina
Kristina and her family have been members of the Castle Pines community since 2009, and love being a part of the American Academy family.  Kristina and her husband, Chris, have two daughters.  Their oldest, Makayla, is now an 8th grader, and their youngest, Annabelle, is now a 6th grader.  Kristina's has spent over 20 years working on DoD contracts as a Software and Security Engineer. Kristina is excited to be volunteering as Board Advisor this year, and held positions of PTO President and PTO Secretary over the previous three years. She loves reading, anything tech, puzzles, hiking, skiing, and simply being outside.  Kristina was born and raised in the Orlando, Florida area, and will always be a Florida girl, but she's discovered that she's a mountain girl too.
