Spring Bash

We are so very thankful to all the parents and friends of American Academy Castle Pines who have purchased their Spring Bash tickets. 
 
We have officially SOLD OUT!!! 
 
The kids will be so happy to receive their extra dress of choice day (date to be determined this week).Absentee Bidder Tickets If you did not have a chance to purchase a ticket or if you can't make the event but still wan to have access to the silent auction on-line, you are in luck!! 
 
We have absentee bidder tickets available for purchase here. 100% of your ticket purchase will go directly to our campus to help us reach our fundraising goal!  An absentee ticket allows you to bid on all silent auction items from home. There will be some fantastic class baskets, date night packages and family experiences up for silent auction (sneak peek below).  We will have absentee bidder tickets available for purchase on the Spring Bash website through Thursday, April 5th. 
 
Volunteers Needed
We will be in need of many volunteers again this year to help with the different  areas of Spring Bash on the day/night of the event (April 7th).  Please watch for the volunteer email that will come out this Wednesday and sign up early.  Not only will you be able to earn volunteer hours, you will also earn the chance to win a VIP carpool pass for the last 6 weeks of school.  That is right, if you volunteer at least 2 hours at the even, your name will go into a drawing for a VIP pass from April 16th until the end of the year.  The drawing will take place on April 10th.  It takes a lot of work to put on an event like this, but with the help of many volunteers, each one of us can do a little to make a big difference. 
 
Wine Wall Reminders
If anyone would still like to contribute the the wine wall, you can still purchase bottles of wine at 80108 and Castle Pines North Liquor and receive a 10% discount.  They will hold the wine there for us to pick up or you can bring it to school this Friday during afternoon carpool and we will grab it from you wile you wait in the carpool line.  You can also donate cash and we will use that to buy some very nice wines from a distributor we are working with.

What are we raising money for this year?

 

Many people have asked and we are thrilled to announce this year our main focus for money raised from this event will be focused on updating and upgrading the STEM and science programs. We will be supporting updated Wedo 2.0 kits for the STEM classroom. These are updated, wireless kits to help with building and creating in the STEM lab. We will be sending a video of the students using the Wedo 2.0 kits in the next few weeks. In addition, we will be adding new carts containing laptops to update the science curriculum, which will provide each grade their own cart to improve science curriculum. Lastly, we will support our annual reoccurring funds to the school, teacher appreciation lunches and the athletics department.

 

 

Help Build the Wine Wall

One of the most popular attractions at our spring fundraisers is the Wine Wall.  At Spring Bash you’ll be able to purchase a “diamond pull” that’ll get you a fabulous bottle of wine off the wall.  We need your donations to help us fill the wall.  We will be collecting wine bottles and cash donations during select morning and afternoon carpools beginning this Wednesday, February 21st

 

Wine wall collections will occur on the following dates and times:

 

February 21st – Morning Carpool

February 26th – Morning Carpool

March 2nd – Afternoon Carpool

March 9th – Afternoon Carpool

March 16th – Afternoon Carpool

If you will be bringing wine, please remember that each bottle should be valued of at least $20.

 

As we have done in prior years, we have worked out a deal at Castle Pine North Wine and Spirits, as well as at 80108.  Castle Pine North Wine and Spirits will give a 10% discount on your total wine purchase in February and March.  80108 will give a 10% discount on bottles of wine not previously discounted during February and March.  Both will hold the purchases at the store for us to pick up if you don’t want to transport the wine to the carpool collections.  Please go to the Spring Bash Webpage for the fliers!

Spring Bash planning is underway.  Our first meeting was on Tuesday and we have decided the theme: Diamonds and Denim!!!  This should be a really great event.
 
We are now looking for donations for Spring Bash!!  Vacation houses, mountain houses, trips, restaurant gift cards or donations of any kind to use for fundraising will be greatly appreciated.  Also, remember Cyber Monday and Black Friday are great opportunities to purchase items to donate for the auction!
 
Corporate Sponsorship is also available for Spring Bash!  This is a great place to advertise your business to our AA community!  We will be sending home information with your student on how to participate.  Use the file below to look at different levels of sponsorship!
